ABOUT THE SHOW

National Geographic Channel and Samsung partner to raise global awareness of the impact of global warming in a worldwide cross-platform campaign. Samsung will engage with renowned National Geographic photographer James Balog, whose most recent work has provided unforgettable time-lapse proof of the now rapid melting of glaciers and ice sheets in the coldest places on the planet. National Geographic Channel is committed to supporting and airing environmentally-themed programs, such as James Balog’s Extreme Ice documentary. The documentary follows James as he photographs spectacular landscapes in Alaska, Greenland, and Iceland, and scientists try to forecast future consequences of the big melt and what can done to reduce its damage.
