  • MALAYSIAN JOURNEY WITH JASON SCOTT LEE

DESCRIPTION

They say if you want to understand a country, you have to get to know its people.

I’m Jason Scott Lee. I’m a part-time actor, part-time farmer, fisherman. I started a farm not that long ago. I live what people would call a sustainable lifestyle, which is really the only lifestyle I feel that is worth living. Travel has always been enriching I think for me, because to be in any culture and understand what their language means, what their origins are. Overall, the traveling experience is I think an education onto itself. I’ve flown here to Kuala Lumpur from my home in Hawaii and for the next few weeks I’m going to travel around Malaysia and try and find out just what makes this place tick. They say if you want to understand a country, you have to get to know its people. So that’s what I’m going to do. There’s no hotels on this trip, I’m going for grass roots experience and staying with the locals in their homes.
