Tasmania is a refuge of magnificent forests, snow-capped mountain ranges, wild rivers and pristine coastlines. Home to the largest marsupial carnivore – the screaming, bad-tempered Tasmanian Devil, Tasmania is also an island sanctuary for the Tiger Quoll, the echidna, pademelon and tiger snake. Off the coast, giant kelp forests are home to an array of bizarre sea creatures.
