Designation: Senior Executive – Programming (Channel Content)

Experience: Minimum 2 years in a similar role.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist in content evaluation from licencors and global teams, coordinate financial documentation and payment process, vendor registration and invoice management
  • Track monthly acquisition and dubbing activities to enable forecasting and tracking of annual budget
  • Develop viewership insights using data from BARC to assist content strategy choices for the team
  • Track industry & regional market developments to forecast upcoming trends with a close track on viewership

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Quick learner and has knack for working on software
  • Excellent communication skills and high level coordination skills
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word

Experience: 3-4 years in a similar role.

Minimum Qualifications: Post-Graduate

Job Responsibilities:

Creative QC (Quality check)

  • View, evaluate and document dubbed Hindi content using QC parameters to direct action points to dub studios
  • Exceptional understanding of content and HSM market audience in order to design Creative Brief for dub studios, directing them on the dubbing style for shows for a better viewer experience
  • Detailed planning and operations management with internal teams and external teams
  • Internal teams: Work on dubbing timelines for all shows and coordinate with global programming team, media ops, regional QC teams and post production team in terms of creative and operational deliveries
  • External teams: Close coordination with dub studio on allocation of titles, creative briefing, artist approval, script coordination
  • Track billing and raise invoices for commissioned projects across studios
  • Scope out talent including new studios, VO artists and writers

 

S&P (standards & practices)

  • Evaluate and document edits needed to align content to broadcast regulations. Ensure guidelines set by the network wrt. regional sensitivities and other standards and practices are carried out.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • High command in Hindi and English – both verbal and written
  • Excellent communication – specially for creating briefs and evaluating scripts for shows; should understand slang/ colloquial words in English, and be able to propose equivalent choice of phrases/ words in Hindi language as required
  • Creative – understands content nuances and capable of giving sound feedback to studios in terms of voice over, treatment of scripts and editing
  • High level coordination skills
  • Consumes shows on TV; has inclination for factual entertainment/ infotainment genre
  • Working knowledge and robust understanding of standards and practices followed for TV content in India
