Cutting carbon is a film that reminds each and every one of us that we have a moral and social responsibility to planet earth and that we have to try our level best to reduce carbon emission & leave a healthy planet for generations to come. It’s not just Governments alone that have to take the responsibility of reducing CO2 emissions levels, but it’s also individuals like you & me who have to & can make a difference. Cutting Carbon will meet and interview The Minister of Science and Technology and senior officials from MOST & MNRE to ascertain the problems facing our country, it will also explore the steps taken by the Indian Government to try and reduce India’s carbon footprint. The government of India is clear that Renewable energy should be 10% of the total energy by 2010 from the present 5%.
