The Arctic Wrangel Island

While young harp seals take to the sea, their nemesis roams the ice. Polar bears spend most of their lives on the frozen pack hunting seals. Off the North East coast of Russia in the Chukchi sea, is a small island called Wrangel. It’s the destination for one of the most important bear populations.
