Polygamy – the practice of taking multiple wives – is alive and well in Centennial Park, Arizona.  The series follows several families living together in a community of like-minded Fundamentalist Mormons.  The lifestyle has history that goes back generations, but their commitment to the faith is tested at every turn:  financial struggles for a family of 22 all living in under one roof, jealousy between a young family’s two sister wives, accusatory stares in public, and the next generation’s commitment to continue “The Work.”  While one of the town’s most respected elder’s own strong-willed children may be straying from the faith, another generation of dedicated young people are choosing this way of life, seeking inspiration and following the path of a polygamous life.
