ABOUT THE SHOW

This is the real-life story of one of the deadliest killing sprees in US history.

Doctor Of Death, Michael Swango, poisoned countless patients and co-workers in the early 1990s using a variety of devious methods – including arsenic-laced doughnuts.

While authorities had been suspicious of Swango in the past, he was able to avoid being convicted of murder until a series of deaths at a hospital in Long Island prompted a full scale investigation.

Find out how forensic methods originally developed after the murder of French businessman Charles Lafarge in 1840, helped snare the ‘Doctor of Death’.
