Our planet's oceans provide more than half the oxygen we breath, 100 million tonnes of food every year, and absorb a quarter of the carbon we emit in the atmosphere. Yet, despite this, 20 percent of the world's coral reefs have disappeared and 90 percent of the large ocean predators are gone because of overfishing and pollution

Splash around in the planet's incredible biodiversity as we head underwater with three documentaries to reveal the hidden wonders of the oceans.

Underwater Oasis visits the Indian Ocean's incredible Aliwal Shoal, where whales, sharks and dolphins gather in huge numbers to feed on the massive shols of sardines. Pacific Ocean Paradise joins a team of National Geographic scientists as they explore a reef where the huge numbers of sharks mean predators outnumber prey.  Finally, see cave divers in Lost World Underwater as they explore the fossil-packed blue holes of the Bahamas to uncover ancient human remains and the skeletons of long extinct reptiles.
