(01:09)Follow an elite squad of snake-trackers determined to protect the planet’s reptiles.
See what the Python Hunters found on their Bayou road trip.
Snake expert Shawn Heflick, law enforcement officer Greg Graziani and reptile breeder Michael Cole are on a mission to protect the planet’s reptiles.
They track Burmese pythons in the Florida Everglades, where the alien predators threaten to destabilise a fragile ecosystem.
But recent cold winters have left the team of Hunters with time to go further afield.
In the new series of Python Hunters join the Hunters as they come face to face with freshwater crocodiles, the mighty anaconda, the elusive black caiman, and the prolific venomous biter – the dusky pygmy rattlesnake.
And in the last leg of their Australian adventure the team finds further evidence of the destruction wrought by the poisonous imported cane toads and the decline faced by many native reptiles.
