Ben and Erin, and their two sons Chase (13) and Charlie (11), live and work at the center of America's food-chain where the livelihoods of Midwestern farmers connect to families nationwide. Here, winter blizzards, spring tornados, and blistering summer heat waves present a wide range of challenges that only the grittiest and most passionate vets are qualified to handle. Luckily, Ben and Erin have the skill and heart that a homestead vet requires and they're anxious to pass it along to the next generation. The Schroeder's credo is to not just save the animals that America depends on, but to make each visit something to look forward to for both the animals and their caretakers, even in the toughest conditions.
