Kaziranga National Park, Assam, India: Dangerous when confronted up close, this bull buffalo was stumbled across at very close quarters. Every nerve in my body was ready to run had the animal moved an inch forward. Being frozen in position relaxed the buffalo and it continued grazing, although it moved back a few yards.
