DESCRIPTION

The 2008 City Chase World Championships is a 3 day urban adventure race and scavenger hunt where 12 international teams compete to find out who is the fastest, fitest, most resourceful and daring team. Taking place in the picturesque cities of Marrakech and Essaouira, Morocco, the 4 hour series follows the competitors from 12 countries from start to finish.

Over the past four years, more than 20,000 people across the globe seeking adventure took part in the City Chase race.  All they needed was a partner, a sense of humor, a little luck, and a whole lot of adrenaline. Every day people experiencing 'reality' first hand in the largest urban adventure race on the planet.

Now, the top 12 teams from around the world face the ultimate City Chase challenge: traveling thousands of miles from their homes, to test the limit of mind body and spirit in a 50 hour race for the City Chase crown.

An epic journey that will take chasers deep inside the maze-like walls of Morocco's ancient red city - an age-old kingdom where majesty meets mystery and chaos reigns supreme. An imperial oasis on the edge of the Sahara, once home to sultans and kings, now a modern day Mecca for adventurers - bound by extremes - where some roads end in elimination, others in the unexpected but only one leads to the title of  World Champion in City Chase: Marrakech.
