    Africa: Flap-Necked Chameleon (Chamaeleo dilepis), poised on top of a tree branch in tropical Southern Africa. These species vary widely in colour, from various greens, yellows and browns. Flaps on their neck usually lie flat, however when they feel threatened they can be raised and angled at 90 degrees to the head to ward off predators.
